2022: INDIA CHAPTER OF ACI SCHOLARSHIP

India chapter would like to inform you that for this academic year also, the Board of Direction of India Chapter of ACI had offered scholarships to deserving students. The India Chapter of ACI is taking this step to encourage improvement in students’ academic performance and more involvement in IC-ACI’s Student Chapter Activities.

Going by suggestions from our Board and our Student Chapter Mentors, IC-ACI also added one more scholarship, in addition to the two we already offer. We offered the following scholarships for each of our Student Chapters:

  1. 15,000/- to one deserving student in the 2nd Year of B. E. / B. Tech Civil Branch based on criteria in Table 1 below.
  1. 15,000/- to one deserving student in the 3rd Year of B. E. / B. Tech Civil Branch based on criteria in Table 1 below.
  1. 15,000/- to one deserving student in the 3rd Year of B. E. / B. Tech Civil Branch to be selected based on financial need [Mentors to select one student who suitably demonstrates financial need, deserving academic performance, and participation in Student Chapter Activities]


Table 1: Selection Criteria for Awarding Scholarships

2 Student Should be an Active Member of your College’s IC-ACI Student Chapter, a student chapter member of India Chapter of ACI and should demonstrate evidence of active participation in various chapter activities 30
3 The student should provide a 400 word Essay covering the following areas:

1.    Why he / she should receive the scholarship?

2.    How will it help him / her improve academia / industry?

3.    What do they propose to do with the scholarship amount?

4 The student must have referred and enrolled at least 10 new members (from any year) to the student chapter

(Copies of membership forms of the 10 new students with signatures and photographs of both the student who has referred and student who has joined as a new member to be submitted to India Chapter of ACI)

Students, who received the scholarship last year, are not eligible for scholarships this year [Second year Students].
