Inauguration of the 29th IC-ACI Student Chapter at Pravin Rohidas Patil College of Engineering and Technology

The inauguration of the 29th IC-ACI Student Chapter at Pravin Rohidas Patil College of Engineering and Technology was held on Wednesday, 21st October 2026, at the college premises in Bhayandar, Mumbai.

Dr. Vishal Thombare, Deputy Chief Engineer (BMC) and the President of the India Chapter of ACI (IC-ACI), was invited as the Chief Guest for the inauguration ceremony. The event was graced by the presence of Dr. Vishal Thombare, Prof. Yadav Kamble of VJTI, Mrs. Ranjana B. Patil, CEO, and Dr. Rajeev Kale, Principal of Pravin Rohidas Patil College of Engineering and Technology.

The ceremony began with the traditional lamp-lighting ceremony by the dignitaries.

Mrs. Ranjana B. Patil, CEO, and Dr. Rajeev Kale, Principal, welcomed Dr. Vishal Thombare and encouraged the students to actively participate in IC-ACI Student Chapter activities.

Dr. Vishal Thombare delivered presentations on “Role of BMC in the Infrastructural Development of Mumbai City” and “IC-AC I Student Chapters.” He explained the various activities that Student Chapters can organise and encouraged students to participate in national and international competitions. He also emphasised the importance of maintaining consistency in organising activities to keep the Student Chapter active and achieve its objectives. His valuable guidance and motivational words inspired the students to focus on their professional development and future careers.

On the occasion, Dr. Vishal Thombare presented the Institutional Membership Certificate to Dr. Rajeev Kale, Principal of the college.

The newly appointed office bearers and committee members of the IC-ACI Student Chapter were felicitated and congratulated by the dignitaries.

The programme concluded with a group photograph of the dignitaries and Student Chapter members, followed by a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Rajeev Kale, Principal of the college.
